Building Features

Datran Center is located just off the intersection of US-1 and the Palmetto Expressway in southern Dade County and totals 473,000 rentable square feet in two buildings of 18 and 20 stories. The Datran Complex is the epicenter of the Downtown Kendall business and commercial district now under development. Towering above other area office buildings, the highly visible Datran Center and its landmark concrete and glass structure give vertical perspective to the local landscape.

Exterior
Concrete and glass exterior rising above the suburban cityscape, the complex, together with the Miami Dadeland Marriott Hotel, provide a veritable oasis of professional services and accommodations.

Lobby
Datran Center's three story atrium lobby glistens with brilliant, natural light shining onto the stone floors and walls. Beautiful exterior and interior landscaping adorn the entryway, visible up the escalator to the mezzanine level to the mass transit station, office tower elevators and hotel restaurants and conference center.

Floors
Typical floor plates are 17,850 in One Datran Center and 20,200 in Two Datran Center.

Views
Calmed and relaxed views of the surrounding suburbs in the foreground contrast with the background views to downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay.

HVAC
Each building in the Datran Center complex is served by separate chilled water systems. There is one air handling unit for each floor. Air distribution is controlled through various individual thermostats and Variable Air Volume (VAV) Boxes on each floor.

Elevators
The eleven high speed elevators in the complex feature cabs with wood panels and stone floors. The elevators are controlled for after hours access.
